Tadashi Shoji

I have the privilege of meeting/interviewing designer Tadashi Shoji this Saturday during his appearance at the Bloomingdales in Stanford. 

 

 I'm spending the entire day researching the renowned designer, who has fashioned red carpet gowns for the likes of Beyonce, Blake Lively and most recently Mo'Nique, who wore a royal blue Tadashi Shoji to this year's Academy Awards.

I tracked down videos of both his Spring 2010 and Fall 2010 RTW showings at Mercedes-Benz Fashion week, and I must say they have me a little intimidated. His clothes are ultra-feminine, artfully constructed, a bit edgy and totally refreshing. 

So excited to meet this genius. Wish me luck, Faddies!
